Fundraisers & Events

It takes a lot of effort to run a successful band program and it wouldn't be possible without fundraising. The fundraising not only supports the band, but also gives an opportunity to form vital friendships with the community and develop long-term sponsors. Here are some of the fundraising events that we have held recently. (Links will take you to pictures of the events.)

Golf Scramble 2021

The Annual Leo Band Golf Scramble is held at Noble Hawk Golf Links and is a partnership among students, parents, local sponsors, and a supportive golf course staff. The event includes 18 holes of golf, prizes, sponsorships, and great food!

Chicken Sales

Leo Band partners with High's Catering to sell BBQ chicken at the four-way stop in Leo. Students often play their instruments as they attract hungry shoppers, all the while earning valuable volunteer band points for band.

Band-O-Rama 2021

While this event is not strictly a fundraiser, it IS a time-honored end-of-school-year tradition that allows us to connect with parents, celebrate students’ achievements, and remind the community of the importance of fine arts education.

Annual Band Auction

The Band Auction typically involves a swanky dinner, online auction, messages from students and staff, and music.
